  Kansas City Snow Storm

It’s here today! While we are in the midst of one of the most horrible Kansas City snow blizzards ever, a news report today predicted that over one hundred million people across the entire country could be impacted by this huge storm. While I chose to hibernate today and enjoy the beauty of nature from my windows, many people may not have had a choice, and are out on the roads.

I found some wonderful safe driving tips from The Weather Channel to hopefully prevent accidents, but also that share what to do if you are actually stranded.

Here are just a few that I would have never have thought of:

1. Have a brightly colored cloth with you

2. Keep a WOOL blanket in your car

3. Keep one of your windows cracked

4. Make sure to have hard candy with you…

Stacey,  We just got through a nasty one in Colorado, I did keep a blanket in the car, didn't think about keeping one window cracked.  Good information!
