Did you know that every US Senator and US Representative has a FPC (Federal Political Coordinators) that has been appointed by NAR to be the Realtor contact person? and that the FPC's meet with their member of congress several times a year to discuss issues facing home ownership, private property rights and the right to own, sell and exchange real estate?
I was recently appointed to be Senator Scott Browns of Massachusetts FPC. Today we just completed day 1 of FPC training for the new FPC's for NAR in Washington DC.
Tomorrow, Day 2 we will wrap up the day by going to Capital Hill and meet with our Members of Congress and/or their staff to discuss current issues such as the importance of keeping the current MID intact and GSE reform.
Our voice in congress does make a difference!
