Hello to all.
Well, I guess I should talk a bit about me on this first active rain posting of mine. In an introductory sort of way, of course.
My name is Tristan Emond. I started working as a real estate assistant in March of 2006, and have since got my license and am branching out on my own, selling residential homes and working with a commercial broker in out office leasing commerical spaces. Keeping busy one way or the other.
I have lived in Rapid City since 1990. I started working in hardwood floors right out of high school (should've taken that trip to Tahiti first....) and was doing that for 11 years. So I have been in quite a few homes in the Rapid City and Black Hills area, and have talked with a number of homeowners and contractors. Real estate has been a good change for me as I have had to learn how to communicate better with people, tackle the fear of what other people think, and develop a whole new mentality.
I've got a wonderful wife (I feel like I'm on Wheel of Fortune when I say that: "Yes, Pat, I've got a wonderful wife of so-many years and blah blah") and 4 kids - 3 boys and a girl at the end. (We're done...) I enjoy web design, graphic design, and gadgets. I haven't been able to justify having a Blackberry type phone and pay the service fee on top, but it's coming...
Anyway, I'm out to do what I can to help people and make some money while I'm at it.
