Your Buyer Probably Lives Through a Smart Phone.

In this world of instant messaging, texting, cell phones etc  we have become used to instant feedback. Our world moves at a much faster pace. We don't like to wait for things to happen.

When it comes to buying a home the same feelings apply. We want to find the perfect home and just move in so we can get on with our lives.

This means the Seller has to offer a better product. Your home needs to compete with other homes on the same level. It has to look just as good as the other homes the Buyer has looked at.

That is what Staging is about. Staging is about preparing your home for sale, turning it into an appealing product.

Staging prepares your home for those all important MLS photos. These photos are on the internet for Buyers and their Realtors to put a 'face' to the property description. They help them sort through the homes and decide which ones they will visit.

Staging means dealing with maintenance issues, defining spaces, updating, giving the house a polished look.

The closer to 'move-in' condition your home is, the more Buyers it will appeal to.

Buyers bring their 'instant' lifestyle with them when they look for their next home.

Can they fit their lifestyle into your home?

When you look for your next home wont you be looking for the best deal?

Hi Janice~  It is so true.  There are so many houses on the market and the competition is fierce.  It had to be in the best shape possible and be priced right to even compete.  Otherwise, the buyer says "Next!"

Janice, the homeowners really need to do whatever they can to make the home as compelling as possible in this market.

Janice,

I agree; it takes a lot of work behind the scenes for homes to sell "instantly."

Have a great weekend,

Stev

Vickie, a seller definitely doesn't want buyers to 'click' on by.

Thanks Megan! Sellers do need an edge to compete.

Very true Nancy, if they want to make the buyer's short list.

Thanks Steve!
