Make Your Facebook Login Secure - Now!

A good Facebook friend of mine posted an excellent link on making your Facebook login secure:

Secure Your Facebook Login!

Okay, that is an image I copied, but here is the actual link to the story: http://t.co/cXKfp6r

If you want the condensed version, I'm here for you!

Changing these settings will make your login an https:// login just like the one at your bank's website.

In Facebook, go to Account>Account Settings, then there should be Account Security which is the third option from the bottom. It may not be available to everyone yet, but it was to me.

Facebook account settings

Why do this? It will prevent your account from being hacked! It will also, if you choose to, alert you when someone else is logging in to your account.

Be Safe! -Lynda

You're welcome Steve!

Facebook privacy issues are getting scarier every day. When I saw the post I thought it was something I had seen earlier about a different issue, and something told me to click on it.

If I thought that, I'm sure there are many others who did as well so I brought it up again.

I have been using the secure login, and it asks me to name each computer that I log in from. Then, it sends me an email with that computer's name. So if anyone else were to log in under my account, I'd get immediate notification. I like this feature!
