Do you have to do a lot of winter driving, while meeting clients for real estate transactions or loan applications?
I do too! I put at least 35,000 miles on my car per year! I drive in between 2 offices that are about 30 miles apart and I cover, on a regular basis about 11 counties! Most of them are in more RURAL AREAS of Illinois. This can be quite daunting, especially this year with The Blizzard of 2011. It got me thinking, what vehicles are the safest to drive in the snow?
I love cars and have always tried to be informed about which ones are the safest so I decided to do a little research. Lo an behold, I discovered what I always thought, that the big SUV's (very popular out here) are NOT safe...even though most people think they are!
Since I care a lot about my Realtor, Attorney and Financial Planner Partners, I encourage you to check out these links if you are looking for a safe, new vehicle...sorry SUV owners, it wont be your traditional HUGE SUV's but these autos are slick, safe and savy....http://www.iihs.org/ratings/default.aspx .
