Google Love or SPAM?  Keyword Targeted Link Anchor Text

Anchor Spam Article Screenshot from SEO Consultant HighRankings.comI wrote a post this morning over on my  Real Estate Virtual Assistant website after I read the article that is linked to the thumbnail image at the left.

Watch the video below where I go over that article with you...and then feel free to head over to read my Real Estate Virtual Assistant article on Real Estate SEO  and leave a comment at the bottom...if you insert your keyword search term as your name and then your link as your URL...and a relevant comment to the article...I will quickly approve it and you will have a nice new backlink to your website.

Yes I am not a active rain maker yet. I just started blogging and I use Point 2 Agent as my web & Blog host. If you go to www.AnchorageAlaskaRealEstateListings.com then you find my KW site. I checked my blog and I do not see where t will not let you comment on it but I think it goes through several channels before it ever gets to Facebook. Try going to my website and seeing if it will work there. www.AlaskasFineHomes.com Thanks Bob

Christine, I'm about to check out your blog. While I didn't totally understand everything, I let my son (my SEO) digest everything. Expect a comment soon :)

My son said that the comment links on your blog are "no follow"? He wanted to ask me what your take is on those kinds of links.

Lydia - thank you for pointing that out to me!  You just made me research and learn something new about WordPress!  Apparently, in versions 1.5 and up, there was an automatic nofollow built into the software for comment links.  There is no way to "turn that off", so I just went and downloaded a free plugin so that links will be followed now.  Keep in mind, all comments on my site have to be approved prior to publishing, so I do have that spam safety built in already...plus I have the Akismet plugin which checks for "humans" :-)  Thanks again...you are now getting the link love!
