Best Friends Forever
I believe the souls of best friends are tied to each other for life. I believe that my best friend will be my best friend in the afterlife as well. My best friend lives in Florida and I live in Las Vegas. We both migrated from Pittsburgh to where we are now.
We became friends when the two of us were single moms. We raised our children together, went through the deaths of our parents together, laughed and had fun, and spilled some tears together. We were inseperable , and talked out our hopes and dreams together.
When I met my husband, she felt like we drifted apart. But sometimes I would pick up the phone to call her and the phone would ring and it would be her. We would be thinking of each other. She finally met someone and married him. She came all the way to Las Vegas to get married so I could stand for her. But she called me crying in years to come because her husband turned out to be a gigolo that married her for her money. She could never get marriage right and now she is alone, except for her children. Her children moved to Florida and so she ended moving with them.
Today is her birthday so I sent her a big hug and wished her a great day. So, now I am teary eyed because I miss my best friend.
I think there are different loves in our lifes. She is like a sister to me and I am not ashamed to say I love my best friend. We will be best friends forever and beyond,
