30 Days to Social Media Results!

social media collageSocial Media ia one of those words that can make you feel small.  I’ts everywhere and everyone has an opinion on what it is and how to use it.  It’ feels complicated and mysterious and overwhelming all wrapped into one.     

It doesn’t have to be complicated.  For the next 30 days,  I’m going to break Social Media down for you.

 
Join me as I share a 30 day Step by Step Action plan to Social computer @ arrowMedia Results.

The social media conversation is going to take place with you or without you.  You can choose to participate or you can choose to sit it out and miss out on the profit and fun.  Most people put off marketing and social media because they think that it’s too time consuming or too difficult.   Marketing, and especially social media is about consistency.

In this series we are going to focus on RESULTS.  The goal is increased business, sales and profits.  If you can commit a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 60 minutes a day on your social media efforts, this series will take you from social media zero to social media hero.

Here’s what to expect: from this series:

  1. Results Tip:  Each day I’ll give you a Results Tip that applies to the message of the day
  2. Social Media Rule:  These marketing rules, when understood, will catapult your efforts and help make you a Social Media Success Story!
  3.  Daily exercises:  Commit 30 minutes to an hour each day to focus on these simple exercises.

Failure TargetMost Social Media Marketing efforts fail for one or more (usually all) of the following reasons:
  • No Planning:  an idea gets launched but it doens’t tie into the bottom line or have any goals associated with it.  
  • Wrong or inapproprite actions.  If there is no plan, the the actions being taken have to be ineffective.  Our goal with the 30 Days to Social Media is to fix this.
  • No Clarity on what or who your target audience is.  Mass marketing no longer works, it’s about niches and micro-niches.  Take this challenge and I guarantee that you’ll “Get Clear”!
  • Lack of goals:  What are you trying to achieve with your social media?  If you have no goals you are guaranteed to wander off course.
  • Unreasonable expectations:  This is a big one.  One blog post is not going to solve your marketing and income problems.  Just because you build it. doesn’t mean that they will come!
  • No Patience:  Oh that doesn’t work?  Oh really, give me 30 days and I’ll prove it to you!


Results Tip:  How many times do you contact a client before making a “sale”?  How close is that number to 30?

Social Media Rule:    Planning + Effort + Consistency = Results

Today’s exercises:

1.  Describe your primary client (target audience).  Who is your ideal client?  Age, Gender, Credit Score, Type of Buyer, Income, hobbies, dreams?  

2.  Compare this list to your existing clients.  Do they match?

3.  Write down 30 things that you would like to achieve from your social Media Marketing.  (i.e)  connect with friends, colleagues, build a referral base, get new clients, get repeat business - you get the idea.
