I'm joining a new brokerage and taking on being a full time Realtor.  I've been a Realtor for 5 years.  But I have never taken on the task of doing it full time.  Today I found myself talking to the owner and asking him about an upcoming listing appointment.  I asked him how he got it, what lead, where, where where....then I realized..I'm like all the others.  I'm looking for the magic pill.  The answer.  The way you get listing appointments without doing anything.  Well, honestly they are out there.  But not enough if you want to be a full time Realtor.  I got to get used to rejection and just go after FSBO's and Expireds.

Good luck Wade, and your right the magic pill is to prospect and lead generate!!! It's a numbers game and it takes rejection to find those hot leads.  Most people will be cordial when giving you that rejection, just gotta learn to not take it personal, it usually isn't :) .

Thanks, Ladies.  I know I have to get off my tail and start the cold hard calling of prospects.  Just not looking forward to it.  But Kim made a great point.  Don't take it personal.  It isn't.
