Is it time for a New Pet?

One of the joys of becoming a homeowner is the ability to get a pet.  I wouldn't trade my "kids" for anything in the world.

However, before I made my choice I wish I'd paid more attention to the personality traits of the breeds I was going to rescue.  So before you get a pet, I strongly recommend you visit the following site: http://www.quizrocket.com/what-pet-quiz, or if you know you want a dog go here: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/search.htm

Armed with that knowledge, please check out www.petfinder.com and consider a rescue.  Yes, you can rescue a pure bred pet.

Finally, if you are in the area of Bastrop County, Texas and are willing to rescue and animal, please visit www.petango.com/bastropanimalshelter.  If you find a pet there that you think would be perfect for you contact me.  I have two coupons available for discount adoptions.  $45 for dogs and $15 for cats, this is a great deal.  Send me an e-mail and I'll make the arrangements to get the coupon to you.

I have a pure bread--Molly, english setter, needs to run and run and run and run.  We knew that but didn't fully understand it until she started running away.  & Duke who was dropped at the end of my driveyway...he is a 57 variety and very awesome.  If I get another one...it would be a rescue 100%.  Good post for people and great cross-marketing for rescues!
