How Do You Keep Up with it All?

By
Real Estate Agent with Prime Real Estate

I love blogging on activerain but when it comes to my facebook, twitter and linked in it can all become so overwhelming.  So I ran across this great thing called hootsuite.  It is a one stop shop (and free) for managing all of these.

The great part of hootsuite is on twitter you can make a column for search words like "buying a home" "moving to (whatever state).  I usually type in moving to Indiana search and then when their posts come up I tweet back where in Indiana? If it is in Northwest Indiana let me know if I can answer any questions for you. You can save mentions in a column so you know when someone has mentioned your user name and I also have a column for different hashtags.

When I go to post I can just click on the top and pick which places I would like it posted whether it is my twitter account or facebook pages or even linked in or all of them so one place to post.

The best part they have a mobile hootsuite so I can keep track on my phone also.

www.hootsuite.comtry it you will have more time for blogging on activerain that way.

It is really all about putting the time aside to make sure you get everything you need done. It is no different then setting an appointment with a client.

Hi, Valarie:

Hootsuite, Seesmic, Tweetdeck.

Do these only cover Twitter, or do they cover Facebook, Digg, StumbleUpon, Yelp, Amplify, LinkedIn, Flickr, YouTube,  and a bazillion other Websites?

It is a full time job just keeping up with the Internet!

Great info.  I am using hootsuite but obviously not using it to its full potential.   These are good tips for those who are looking to consolidate what they are doing online.
