OKAY! I CLICK ON email on an profile and it jumps to email (with no email address), but an email prompt pop ups and you can type subject and actually write memo and that will be sent to the member. So, you don't actually see their email address.

SO, MY NOTE TO MEMBERS.... Somewhere in your info, blogs, about section. TYPE YOUR EMAIL. You want to be contacted or perhaps, can come up with a solution when that box pops up.... maybe we can also see the address... OR JUST MAYBE THEY WANT TO HANDLE THE EMAIL AT THAT POINT OF CLICKING EMAIL.... HHHMMMM..... Regardless, let's see your email.... Remember the generation that is doing business in this TECHY world uses lots and lots of email..... versus picking up the phone. Just saying.... and they might see your blog you posted to the rest of us.... if you make PUBLIC.

I see why AR doesn't want to give the public access to everyone's email. But I agree with you. I have my email out there for people to find.

Hello Lauren, good thoughts. I like having my email where people can contact me. As a Realtor, I do want to be contacted and put my email and phone number out there as well as "contact me" on websites. I do worry about spam but I do want those client emails.

MY EYES!! THEY HURT!!! TO..... MANY..... HYPERLINKS........But you do have a great point... Most Realtors (most being the keyword) want themselves to be found and email is becoming the easiest way to converse these days. But there is always the possibility of spam and alot of by advertising our email on differnt sites, but it has to be a risk we have to be willing to take in order to get our name out there and make ourseves accessible.

Michael~ good point as well... I have my homes@OCLauren.com (primary email) set up to filter spam and for the most part I get emails by parties I want. Occassionally- I get one that was intended for me that end up in junk or spam. :/

Liz & Bill, my lil frustration too... So, I go to AR members sites and they may have a contact me or email icon and it still takes me to a form to be contacted and I still don't know their email address... :0 Good job posting when and where you can. ;)

You're kidding Gabe~ Bummer! because I don't want someone to think I was rude in not responding... On that note> before all these changes I use to get emails sent when AR members posted a comment and I don't now and I made zero changes on my settings...

Debbie~ yeah, I was telling Michael good point too and I set up my filter and it works pretty good...

I would do that as you said, so when clients read your blog they always have your info. handy to contact you. I know some people give up and move on to the next agent... I'm changing my header again tonight....

Yes, me too Barbara! We are on the same page... ;) Those that get through my filter, I feel a quick delete is better than missing a client... ;)

Stacey~ too many hyperlinks? Yes, that is the risk we need to take as the business we are in, we advertise because we want to be contacted! Not hide from being contacted. At least I don't and I think it is the easiest and less intrusive... just my thoughts... How was the SuperBowl party? Went to the Club~ they had a zillion flat screens... Came home before it got crazy!
