Stoneleigh Village is located west of Farmington and just north of I96 expressway. The picture you see here is of the entrance sign as you enter the sub on Ashurst St. There are two ways in and out of this sub with no through streets to any other neighborhoods so there should be minimal street traffic. There are approximately 129 homes which were built in the late 1970's in Stoneleigh Village. The local school district for the area is LIVONIA PUBLIC SCHOOLS with LIVONIA CHURCHILL as the high school. From the moment you enter Stoneleigh Village you will notice very well kept homes with a strong showing of pride of ownership. The first picture is of the street sign as you enter the sub on Ashurst, I took the pictures just as I was entering to show a home in the sub. The next picture is of what the entrance looks like if you just take a few steps back. It was a interesting day of these pictures as it had been snowing on and off pretty much all day and the roads were pretty clear. This neighborhood has very convenient access to many modern conveniences such as: ST MARY MERCY HOSPITAL, LAUREL PARK PLACE MALL, LIVONIA MICHIGAN RECREATION CENTER, GROCERY SHOPPING, I96 EXPRESSWAY and much more.
