All across much of America we have had more winter than many of us bargained for except kids who enjoyed sledding instead of studying. When we went to church this morning it was a sunny and balmy 45°.
Our church has a new building about 5 years old with a line of young cherry trees between the parking lot and church building. I was surprised and pleased to have it confirmed that the National Capital Area's famous cherry trees will be in full bloom again this year.
Tourists gravitate to the Tidal Basin in DC for their view. However, those of us who live in the Maryland and Virginia suburbs only have to look in our neighbor's yard or our own to enjoy one of the earliest signs of Spring.
