Everybody Loves A Hot Shower, But This Is Ridiculous

By

If there is one thing I love on cold winter morning is a nice hot shower. I like the water to be just below scalding so my skin tingles. Takes the chill right out my bones. Now some people may think that's a bit extreme. Others may think I need to ramp it up a notch.

Electricity and water don't mix!I happened across some folks who may think I'm a sissy for wanting just a hot shower. The people who live in this house might be into extreme sports like skydiving or heli-snow boarding judging from their bathroom.

That's the homes main 200 amp electric panel next to the shower stall. I've heard of starting your day with a jolt, but that might be taking that axiom a little far.

This bathroom is in what used to be the garage along with a bedroom and a living room. The whole set up was quite bizarre. Oh and there was no heat. Maybe that explains why they chose to put the shower next to the electric panel.

More opinions than you want to hear about.

None of this would have happened before we had cable TV. Everybody's a contractor and everybody's an investor.

Hi Jim, they can juice it up a bit in the morning with their shower.  I hit my quota for bad puns with that one.

Does the red sticker we can't read say, "Do not put a bathroom near this panel box." ??  Just wondering.

James, It's for sale, but not to this buyer.

Jay, Lots of Uncle Bob Work in this house.

Glenn, I really don't think that's the motivation here.

Cindy, Good one:)

Suzanne, Yes it is and not even close to the first time I have seen an electric panel in a bathroom.

Joe, Yes, yes I think I can!

E.J., Good point!

Michael, Yep!

Dale, That's quite all right, I,'m not shocked.

Charlie, These folks were apparently waaaaaaay out there.

Steve, Well after seeing the job you did on your bathroom, I was inspired.

Jay, That's actually the main breaker. That's a Murry panel and the second one I've seen in a week.
