Well, the celebration known to many real estate professionals as the event marking the end of the non-buying season is behind us. The five major groups who watch the big game have been satisfied in varying degrees.
Group one is the group of watchers who are actual fans of the two teams that were privileged to play in the game. Overall grade on this one is a C, with half loving it and half extremely disappointed.
Group two is the group who attended parties and don't really care that much about the game. We'll give this segmant an A. Everyone loves a good party.
Group three is the group that watches because they have some numbers drawn in the office pool, and they have hopes of big winnings and bragging rights on Monday morning. Grade for this is D- because only about 5% are happy with the outcome, but all will participate and watch next year's game.
Group four watched only because the best commercials are traditionally aired during the game. My opinion is that tradition was broken this year and commercials had their more traditional function. Yes we had time to refill and recycle without missing a thing. Grade F.
Group five, probably the smallest group, tuned in for the half time show. Their group received an incomplete. I don't think there was a halftime show.
The official Minnesota house hunting season is now in its sixth day and the best deals are gone. Don't wait until the ice melts before you start your search for that good deal on your perfect home. Whether there are ten, a hundred, or a million homes on the market, the best one will be the next to go. How many cars do you want to watch go by before you jump on the train?
