Ok, so I held an open house both Saturday and Sunday. I was amazed at home many people came through on Superbowl Sunday. They all said we are not football fans so we were just out and about. I think I will always hold opens now on big football weekends. I did pick up one buyer, but most were just curios about this "bank owned" property and wanted to know how the market was.

One new buyer certainly makes it worth your while. I held one the week before and picked up one new buyer. If I get one new client out of each open house, I'll consider it time well-spent.

I like football, but I wouldn't let it get in my way of going to an open house and since women tend to be decision makers, it seems to be good business to have an open! I enjoyed going around yesterday, pre-game, previewing properties...saw some great homes and home in time for kick-off!
