Saturday evening Mike and I had dinner at The Silver Coin Indian Grill and as always it was very good! This was the first time I tried the Lamb Vindaloo and he chose the Karahai Ghosh (another lamb dish). We also got an order of Spinach Kulcha (leavened wheat bread stuffed with spinach and spices), which is so tasty and perfect for sopping up the all the yummy sauce!
This is a great place for family dining too! You can enjoy Indian cuisine while keeping the kids happy with more familiar fare such as chicken fingers and french fries. The first time we ate here we had no idea what to order because there is so much to choose from! We needed help and our waitress came to our rescue; she asked us questions about what we liked and made recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed!
We can't wait to go back!
The Silver Coin Indian Grill is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday - Sunday (closed on Monday) and is located at 3321 Lorna Road in Hoover.
