The Center For The Arts of Greater Manassas and Prince William County is located in the Old Hopkins Candy Factory at 9419 Battle St, Manassas VA. This very historic building was deeded to the City of Manassas by the Caton Merchant family "specifically to house the Center For The Arts and expanded cultural activities". My Team has 34 years experience in Woodbridge, Dumfries, Manassas, Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket Prince William County Experience Isn’t Expensive – It’s PRICELESS
In 1984 a group of artists and art lovers founded the Center to bring a greater appreciation of the arts through a combination of education and performances. Restoration of the building started in August 2001 and was ready for occupancy by Octobor 2002.
The First Floor houses a reception area for visitors, but is also configured as a gallery that can host art shows and exhibits. It is available for rental for a wide range of activities from weddings to receptions and corporate meetings. It also has a service kitchen available for use by renters.
The Second Floor has both classrooms and the administrative offices. The classrooms expand the type and variety of courses that can be offered to all age levels.
The Third Floor has theatre space that can be arranged for traditional seating or, for example, theatre in the round. It, too, provides space for recitals, lectures, weddings, receptions, corporate meetings, etc.
You can learn more about their programs at Center For The Arts.
