Home sellers often spend valuable time and money remodeling a home before putting it on the market for sale. Well, I recommend that before spending valuable hard earned money, and considering a partial or total remodel check out the Cost vs Value report. To access the full report online visit www.costvsvalue.com. They have data for 35 projects and all the major areas Coast to Coast. The cost versus value differs from coast to cost

It is an especially valuable tool to provide to Clients who will be selling their homes this year. It will certainly help your credibility in your counseling them, and save them from making costly mistakes. I just sent this link to the Sellers I am working with, they found it enlightening.

For Buyers who have just purchased and aren't selling in the near future, or may not think they are ever selling, it will help them plan. Life's plans can change suddenly. It's just good information to have.

I found when reading the data that the items have changed over the last five years in what brings the greatest return.

The best return of 102% was getting a new steel front door! This is followed by a new garage door.

Used to be was a kitchen remodel was the best, now minor kitchen remodels have a better return.

It is not unusual for me to consult with Sellers for years before they sell in guiding them about what is the best return on their repair or remodeling investment. It also reminds them that I have a wealth of resources for their projects. I have a handy resource list of service providers to choose from. It saves them a lot of uncertainty about where to find dependable people to hire.
