The Little Things at Davies and DeGennaro Real Estate

By
Real Estate Agent with Davies and DeGennaro Real Estate

It's all the little things that count at Davies and DeGennaro Real Estate.  In today’s world, they count everywhere.  Real estate is a tough market nationally and even more so on LBI, where a specific inventory and a variety of competitors populate the area.  With such stiff competition in a small market, it can prove difficult to differentiate yourself from the rest.

I do not necessarily consider every agent to be my competition.  I would actually prefer a more community-oriented atmosphere, where agents view each other as teammates, helping one another to achieve an overall goal: transaction completion.  This is an ideal, and one that can only happen in the later stages of real estate transaction.

To make it in this market you need to be preemptive.  That means being aggressive: getting out there, obtaining listings, making cold calls, and above all, proving that you are the most effective agent in reaching client goals.  This is where your competition comes into play. WHY?  You need to develop that sentence and thought.

There is a plethora of useful information and real estate tools at an agent’s disposal.  It becomes tough to remember the little things.  There are so many tools that sometimes it can be overwhelming.  I find myself trying to do too many things at one time and thus not doing any one of them to my best ability.  I have realized that this multi-tasking work ethic is not the best way to get things done.  No matter how much technology you have, if you are not using it correctly, it is useless.

What I'm doing over here at Davies and DeGennaro is starting to make sure I focus on all the little things.  By combining our latest technology with good, old-fashioned sales strategies and relationship building techniques, I am hoping to build-up my inventory of listings so that I can provide my buyers with the exact product they demand.  In my next few blogs I will be going over all of the new technology that I am implementing as well as the basics on which I am focusing.  The main points I will be discussing are:

·      Coming up with a new website www.LongBeachIsland4sale.com which also includes a new, personalized section for all of our talented and hardworking Davies and Degennaro agents

·      My new “Keeping Current Matters” Campaign

I have chosen these three topics to devote my full attention to.  As I am describing the details of these and how they function, I will also be explaining why they are important and how they can benefit both my sellers and buyers.  Now that I have chosen the right technology upon which to focus, I cannot forget the little things.  This includes:

·      Staying organized

·      Not procrastinating

·      Consistently following up

·      Making 10 phone calls to 10 new, potential clients every day

·      Blogging every day

·      Doing research and staying informed about the market

·      Making sure all of my clients needs are taken care of and that they are 100% satisfied

The most important thing is to make sure that my clients, whether they are buyers or sellers, are as equally informed as I am and are thoroughly benefiting from all of my efforts.  Above all, I strive to make sure that my clients are happy and satisfied with my services.

Please feel free to follow all of my real estate transactions on Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in and now on Tour Factory.  Thank you for reading CJ Davies LBI Real Estate Blog.
