A friend suggested this application that works in the "cloud". I can access files from my laptop or cell phone anywhere via an Internet connection. I can also share a file or files with others to collaborate on such as a listing presentation or a buyer report.
You may want to work with a file on a MAC and a PC and have the changes synchronized easily without having to use a flash drive or external device.
It's called cloud computing which in essence are files shared across a virtual server accessed on the Internet.
PAR (PA Association of Realtors) is starting to implement this tool for committee meeting notes and files and has suggested a easy-to-use application that is free to use!

1) Download the application on your desktop or laptop. Follow the simple installation instructions using your email address, choose a password,
2) Choose the files from your device you want to share from the File Manager: - Pictures or a specific directory. Do exercise some caution as to which files you want to share across the web.
3) Download the SugarSync app on your smart phone or other device with the email address and password you used to create the application on your desktop or laptop.
You will be able to access photos & files from either device via the web. Yes, you can easily view photos from your mobile phone on your desktop or laptop.
4) Click on Manage Sync Folders to determine and select which file folders you want to share across the web. To exclude folders from being viewed, Click on Manage Excluded Subfolders to uncheck directories and/or files.
5) Use the Magic Briefcase to collaborate or edit a file from anywhere and it will automatically be synced. A Magic Briefcase folder is also automatically created in your "My Documents" directory. Just drop a file into this folder and you will be able to easily share it across the web. Share music, photos and more
I still have more to learn but it is pretty slick. It will be interesting to see how Cloud technology evolves and is being used by individuals and organizations.
