Droid Stuff...A Continuation

By
Real Estate Agent with Wainwright & Co. Realtors

Time for the latest update on what I've learned about the Droid.  First off, the coolest thing I've found useful for me, is the turn by turn GPS.  My wife will attest the the fact that I have the worst sense of direction of anyone she has ever known.  I'm getting a ton of use out of that right now.

As far as aps go, if you are a RE/Max agent, there is a RE/Max university ap that has some useful tips for realtors, no matter how long you have been in the business.  The best part is that it's free.  You can also create your own ap.  There are a few realtors who have their own ap available.  I'm looking into how to create one of those, and I'll let you know how that goes.  Seems like a great tool to have to stay connected to current clients, and picking up new ones.

The only thing I've noticed that I'm not able to do is comment on blog posts with the Droid.  On that note, let me use this space to thank everyone for following the progress, and I hope that you find something useful in the information I'm putting out there.  I also want to thank you for all the comments on my family.  I am trully blessed with a beautiful wife and two beautiful girls.

On a side note, today I find out if we are having a boy or girl at 1 today.  Excited about that.

Looking forward to what I will learn this week, and sharing it with all of you.

Thanks again, and have a great day!!

I didn't realize there was a Droid GPS. I'll look into it, thanks.

I do use the droid GPS, but it will quickly drain the battery. I have to use a car charger when I use mine. Very accurate...

Great thing I like about my Droid GPS is that I can speak the address into the system so it saves me from fat fingering the address and ending up in the wrong location.  But yes, put it on the car charger when using as the GPS is incredibly power draining.
