Withdrawl of HOT Lanes lawsuit by Arlington County

Yesterday Arlington County withdrew it's lawsuit against the Commonwealth for their proposed implementation of High Occupancy Vehicle traffic (HOT) lanes on I95 and 395. This area has some of the worst traffic in the country so anything potential effecting this is always controversial. Arlington was insisting that the Commonwealth of Virginia conduct a full environmental impact study before proceeding and they have now agreed to do so. Withdrawl of the lawsuit will certainly save the county quite a bit of money in legal fees.
