Columbus Ohio made a list of top cities for single adults, "How does your city rank for singles?"
Forbes.com says of the methodology and rankings of the US cities:
"We looked at 40 of the largest urbanized areas in the country and judged them on culture, nightlife, job growth, the cost of living alone, online dating, the number of other singles and that ever-elusive quality, cool."
Columbus ranked 19 out of 40 cities for singles but Columbus was the 40th of those cities in "coolness"
I wrote "Maybe we need to work on our "coolness." but I believe if Forbes.com ever did a feature on how cool a city is for kids, Columbus has "that ever-elusive quality, cool" in lots of ways, for kids.
To mention just a few....
...and coming next year Zoombezi Bay - formerly Wyandot Lake and owned by Six Flags, the park adjacent to the zoo is now owned by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Renamed, Zoombezi Bay and totally redone... Zoombezi Bay will be opening in 2008.
