Dallas, Texas is definitely known for the many unique neighborhood communities that really give the city its character, with Bryan Place adding to that value. The neighborhood of Bryan Place is mainly known for the beautiful design, friendly nature, convenience in relation to downtown Dallas and all the major sites, attractions, and resources throughout the city, as well as the community involvement that is on such a higher level. There is an active neighborhood association of Bryan Place that ensures the sanctity of the neighborhood, handling an array of different issues and relations for the residents including city zoning and ordinance as well as social events and more.

The neighborhood of Bryan Place was originally named after the founder of Dallas, John Neely Bryan. The idea came from developer Fox and Jacobs, who desired a more family oriented, serene quality of living within a busy city, somewhere that was free from confines but allowed a slower pace of life. The result was the neighborhood, which today is a bright spot of Dallas, predicted for the vast development that followed in the past decades since its creation in the 1980’s.

The neighborhood now stands to the east of the Arts District of Dallas, featuring a quality of life that is like no other in the city or state. There is the Exall Park located within the community, used for all types of recreational and community events. Entering the neighborhood, there is a blend of various architectural styles, homes large and small, young and old. The skyscrapers of Dallas line the sky of the neighborhood, showing all the great sites enjoyed within the city.

Mostly single family homes, the designs can range from late 80’s to 1990’s modern style and even newer. There are developments from the 2000’s offering Craftsman style and Spaniard Eclectic style homes as well. The neighborhood being a newer development features 0-lot zoning in most homes, with very small lots for most of the street lined homes. The area, home to approximately 17,624 residents, takes up an area of 3.103 square miles, with a median home cost near the $200,000’s.

Bryan Place is a more reserved neighborhood which has homes that easily reach the lower $300,000’s, but can differ from home to home. Serviced by the Dallas Independent School District, the education quality is quite high throughout the community, with many families enjoying a quiet area that provides excellent schooling. It isn’t uncommon to see families outdoors enjoying events and social gatherings within the community of Bryan Place in Dallas.

There are several historic neighborhoods within Dallas, Texas, but Bryan Place provides a more modern, contemporary feel to living in Dallas, allowing you to enjoy the history of the city from a quiet, more modern state of living. There are several residents within Bryan Place that make the neighborhood as popular as it is, known for their friendly atmosphere that attracts so many to the area, with residents of all backgrounds, cultures, and social groups of Dallas as well.
