As a debt consultant I see and feel this pain every day. As Real Estate Agents you deal with this pain every day. We try to ignore it. We try to focus on those that aren’t suffering. But the suffering is real and it’s a problem that all of us need to acknowledge.
As I played this game, when it came time to ask for help, I couldn’t and didn’t. This is primarily because my husband has been unemployed for more than two years with no job in site. He is turned down nearly daily because he’s over experienced. Had I asked for help people might have thought it was for real.....and maybe it would have been!
It’s real, it’s exhausting and many of you reading this post understand first hand the choices that must be made in this game.
