After your home is damaged by severe weather, or after you become sick with a serious illness, the last thing you want to worry about is whether or not your insurance policy will cover your bills. Many people assume that becomes they have insurance, they will be covered 100% of the time.
Unfortunately, the devil is in the details. The fine print of your insurance policy could contain stipulations that would invalidate your coverage in the event of an accident. Don't wait until an accident to find out whether you've invalidated your policy.
Insurance broker Linda Rey has written an excellent post on three common situations that could negate your coverage. Her message? Always read the fine print. Check out her blog now to avoid the shock of finding out you're not covered: http://insurance.equifax.com/2011/02/check-fine-print-situations-that-could.html
