I don't believe it! I have recently been working with a company's Sr. Loan Office for the past 3 months with my client. And we have encountered some problems, and I'd love my AR members feedback on this post.
I'm in Alabama the lender is in Arizona, in my opinion that's the first problem.
The lender has not given the buyers a detail check off list of what is required of them.
The lenders assistant is a sweet lady but....
The Sr Loan office is a true piece of work.... :(
I admit I made an error on the contract in January by not adding the spouse, but that problem has been fixed and taken care of.
I have been informed by the Sr. Loan office at this bank that if it wasn't for this minor error then all of the needed documents to allow my clients to close could have taken place.
Now this is where I need your feedback
The loan office has not requested VOE/VOR/DD-214/Bank Statements/ and other documents from the buyers until a few days ago but yet he feels I'm the reason for this deal not closing.
I have gained a rapport with the Listing agent and she has tried several time to contact the lender with questions as to what is the hold up etc...in a very professional manner.
Well this guy....the Sr. Loan Officer has replied very offensively has called her pathetic and has been very condescending with everyone involved in this transaction.
How would you handle this problem....Now remember we still haven't closed on the property? And I have a copy of all correspondence.
