Emergency numbers are something you can never find in a crisis - and of course some emergencies are not as urgent as others! With this in mind, I have gathered together all the ones I could think of in one place. I hope you find this useful.
Florida is now in the peak of Hurricane Season and so far all has been quiet and let's hope that 2007 is the same as 2006. However, we did get a reminder this week of the power of nature when a bad thunder storm managed to produce a tornado about an hour north of Orlando. 15 homes were damaged, but thankfully no one was hurt.
The biggest thing you can do to protect yourself and your family would be to go out and buy a NOAA Weather radio. Ranging in price from $20 to $100, these radios can literally save your life - giving you five minutes warning of an impending tornado even in the middle of the night.
The following is a list of all emergency help numbers.
