Keep Smiling

By
Home Stager with Setting The Stage, LLC

It may at times seem like you are spinning your wheels, but keep on smiling and plugging away.  I promise, it does pay off if you keep on marketing and getting your name out there.

The home industry has slowed down, but not stopped in its tracks.  There are homes being sold, its just taking a bit longer.

I have been marketing and leaving my information with realtors, and I will tell you that there are people out there who need our services, we do make a difference.  It is important to just keep smiling and letting people know that you are in the business.

If you have any suggestions on other marketing strategies, I am all ears.

Lets hear from you.

What do you do to stay positive when things get slow?

In every industry there are slow times and busy times..

And around the holidays it always slows down, everyone is preoccupied with getting ready for parties and spending time with their families.

This is a good time to clear up all paperwork sitting around your desk, empty some closets, and send our cards to friends and family.  It is also a time to start thinking about how you will start marketing your business after the holiday is over and people are conentrating on work again.

I like to spend time doing as much as possible with my kids and straightening out my house, so when the new year begins I can put all my efforts into my work.

Because I do home renovtions as well, I seem to keep busy with projects that make each week go by faster than I can imagine.

I try to keep a positive attitude at all times.  It appears that whenever I think things are going to slow down, something comes up, so why worry about it.  Everything good is worth being patient for.

So, keep a smile on, keep a positive attitude, and get pepared for the New year..

I agree with what was said above.  It maybe slow and the money may not be coming in the way you want . . .It's a great time to figure out and put things in place for next year.  Join an accountability group, donate sometime to an organization and meet people and network.  Make this your vacation time.  Just don't by into the pessimistic view or it'll spin you downward!

Hey Linda

Keep going to meet with realtors you never know what is going on behind the scenes. I ran into a friend of mine today who told me her boss has my cards displayed for all his agents...NOW when I met with this guy he barely spoke to me and acted as if he could not care, YET he is recommending me to his agents. WE NEVER KNOW WHEN IT WILL HIT, BUT IT WILL

Talk with you soon,

Linda, along with your pretty smile, now is the perfect time to call everyone you care about including friends, family, past clients, realtors, etc.

Your smile will come through the telephone.

Just staying in touch and letting people know that you care will make others and yourself feel good. People like to work with people who care!
