LBI real estate sales and rentals are about to get easier with the tag team combo of the Delta Media Group and Davies and DeGennaro. As I have stated in the past few blogs, Davies and DeGennaro is working on redesigning our website once again. Lets just say our last site was a learning experience. It was a HUGE step up from our original site but there were still a lot of things missing. We created a site that looked better, was easier to navigate and brought a lot more people to our site. The 3 biggest problems were that we had no online presence, we couldn't keep people on the site very long and we were not capturing any leads. The solutions to this problem are fairly simple. 1) SEO 2)Web content 3)Lead capture program.
My response to these solutions are 1) SEO is extremely expensive and can be poorly executed 2) It is Extremely expensive to add additional custom buttons and web content after the custom site is already made. Approximately 75$ an hour. 3) Lead Capture is simple, but with out numbers 1 and 2 taken care of, we are pretty much helpless. I would have tried to remedy all of this with our current site provider Homes.com, but I found that since they are such a big company it was very hard to get the results I wanted. I am not saying that they are not an awesome company, just not right for our small business needs.
Delta Media Group has been a wonderful to work with so far. WE are going to have a lot more helpful tools and applications and easier navigation searches and interactive maps. Some new additions to our site will be:
- Individual agent websites
- Each agent site will have mobile access
- Interactive map searches
- All social Media networks
- Saved searches with favorites and daily/weekly updates
- daily MLS updates right on the home page
Make sure you sign up for My Home finder to make sure you are informed with everything going on in your town of interest. I am really excited to get the site up and running.
