Overheard...

A group of people at the table next to me were talking about snow on people's roofs (who isn't talking about snow and roofs lately!?!). I heard one of them say that if you clean the snow off your roof and then it collapses or springs a leak that the insurance won't cover it because there's no way to prove that you didn't do the damage yourself when cleaning off the snow.

Does anyone know if this is true or just someone's opinion?

Very good question, I don't see how it could be upheld though. It could of been damaged from a falling tree, hail, or just from working on a fireplace. Isn't that what insurance is for anyways? Nice blog

Not sure of the answer but you can bet if you put in a sizeable claim their is a good chance that insurance company will drop you next policy date.....seen that happen a few times to people I know...makes me wonder why we have insurance at all sometimes...

Hi Lydie. Thanks so much! I just got really busy in my other business, I'm taking an intensive real estate business building course, and I just signed a buyer today (whoo hoo). I keep saying that I have to get back here but I run out of time by the end of each day.
