The sun was shining and the increased temperature ( a balmy 37 degrees) drove me outdoors this afternoon.
I visited the Home Show at the Lancaster County Convention Center in downtown Lancaster today to check out the exhibitions. It looked like there was good attendance on the exhibit floor from Lancaster County consumers and I hope it extends to the weekend for the exhibitors.
Saw a lot of green energy, bath room re-fitters and remodeling exhibitors
as well as cooking & cleaning demos,
landscaping ideas, interior designers, and
window/door suggestions.
Oh and some builders were present as well.
Some fun things I saw:
A spring welcoming hat & a pig grill.
You have to put your name in for the pig grill!
The show runs through Sunday and it's FREE.
Open Friday until 9pm.
Saturday 10-8pm & Sunday 10-6pm
Why not stop by Saturday after or before shopping at Central Market
or Sunday and enjoy brunch at Carr's.
This is just one of many upcoming home shows in our area.
A month from now, The Building Industry Association will be holding its Spring Home Show at the F&M College Expo Center.
And if visiting these shows gives you an appetite to look into buying a home in our area, I'll be glad to help you find the right home for you.
