Chandler, Arizona--All American City and WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE!!

Most people have never heard of Chandler, Arizona outside of the state.   I know I didn’t until we moved to Arizona.  For those that are looking at relocating to Arizona, let me put in my best pitch for you to consider Chandler. 

Chandler was awarded the 2010 All American City.  This prestigious award confirms my belief that Chandler is one of the best places to live.  What makes this community so wonderful:

Employers
Chandler is home to some major businesses.  Our biggest employer is Intel Corporation.  Intel is located in the heart of Chandler and provides many employment opportunities for our great City.  We also have Motorola, Freescale Semiconductor, Orbital, Chandler Regional Hospital, Toyota Financial, CDW, Basha’s DC among other companies.  These companies are all within a short distance from wonderful subdivisions and local schools; making it extremely convenient to live where you work.  

Activities
Chandler offers the best in outdoor activity options for all ages.  From adult sports programs to children’s programs, Chandler has it all.  As a mom, there is never a shortage of places to bring our children to allow them to be kids.  Our local parks houses tennis courts, sports/rec centers, bark parks even a fishing ground.  We have the most affordable programs.  If you’re into Zumba or just want to hit a few balls, we have them.  If you want kids to be in Soccer, BBall, Tennis, Swimming, even Archery, we have those options too. We also have loads of indoor bases activities for those warm summer months.  The sky’s the limit on what you can do here. 
  
Commerce
Chandler’s charm is built on the small businesses that are thriving in our community.  As with all cities, we have seen our share of closures, but we have also seen our share of startups.  Downtown Chandler houses one of the best restaurant strips.  However, this is only one of our gathering places.  Throughout Chandler, there are great places for everyone.  Date night, family outings, outdoor BBQ hangouts, we have it all.  We also have wonderful boutique shops.

Education
The Chandler Unified School District is an amazing and very critical part of our success.  The belief that children can rise above the norm is essential to the way CUSD provides educational opportunities.  Our public schools/charter schools rival private schools.  Public programs exist for children of all caliber and range.  From general education to accelerated schools, we have it all for parents.  Another really neat thing about CUSD is that as long as you’re a CUSD resident, your child can go to any of our schools (provided there is space).  It’s a great way to allow parents to help our children promote their intrinsic talents. 

Home Affordability
Chandler’s wonderful community is one of the most affordable areas to live.  We rival Scottsdale for many things but our housing prices are 1/3 of the cost of living in Scottsdale.  Most homes in the Southeast corner are newer homes built in the earlier part of 2000.  We have builder homes as well as custom homes.  There is not a limit to what is available. Home prices can be as low as $100k for a wonderful home.  We also have homes under $500k that are custom homes.  Yes, that’s right, a custom home for $500k.  Amazing!!! 

Relocation is a very big step for anyone.  I believe that as a relocation agent, there are additional needs to ensure a smooth transition.  Being a real estate agent and parent, my goal is to make sure that my clients are supplied with services that help to answer any questions you may have.  Since I’ve had relocated several times for a corporate position I also recognize that client’s may not transition immediately.  Steps to help you bridge the gap is important.  My goal is provide you with the most excellent service possible.
