Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams/Lehigh Valley Homes TV

hey everyone.  I'm new to active rain and I am thoroughly enjoying the interaction I see.  I was hoping if some of you could comment on a video blog that my partner and I do each week called "Properties of the Week".  We get a good number of views on it and are creating a following of sorts but haven't interacted much with other agents about it simply b/c I work too much and don't have a lot of time to chat with others about what we are doing.  Can you check out the format let me know what you think?  What we do is choose 4 properties that we feel are good buys in our marketplace.  Some of them are our listings of course but others are not.  My partner is in the mortgage biz so he handles the mortgage end of things.  Thanks in advance.  Here is a link http://lehighvalleyhomes.tv/2-11-11-properties-of-the-week/

Phil, it's really professional.  A nice job!  I especially like the way you go over the financing so the buyers know what the property will cost...it helps put the property in a realistic perspective.

I like the video. My concern is the pictures when it is not your listing. Numerous agents have posten in response to another blog that they don't want other agents taking pictures of their listings. I am going to suggest.

The pictures are from the MLS data, we do not take pictures of the property.  We also mention the listing broker each time we feature a home that is not our listing.  100% legal and legit :)

I suggested your post because I think a lot need to see this. But I would check with your mls. In California those images are considered copyrighted by the listing agent and/or the mls.

Thanks.  We did check with our MLS before we launched the site, they said that as long as we give written and verbal recognition of who the broker is and have the IDX broker disclosure on the listing details we are in compliance.  The photos come through IDX broker a 3rd party that grabs MLS data from our MLS including the pictures.  Thanks for sharing
