Eucalyptus are my absolute favorite trees.  We used to have a great big blue gum in our front yard as a kid.  We'd collect the seed pods and pretent fairies would dance around htem at night.  I still think that fairies dance around eucalyptus trees!

That is one tree that DOESN'T grow here in Florida. I think about 80% of our plants are the same though!

We had many eucalyptus, but they tend to break up in the high winds. Plus they are extremely fast growing. :)

Me too I love that first shot! I thought FEB 13 2011 eucalyptus trees had different leaves....maybe I am just not seeing the leaves right.

Regarless, these tree are beautiful. Trees are my favorite thing in nature.
