Being in the right place at the right time.......

Real Estate Agent with Harriman Real Estate RES.0791860

Saturday afternoon I was with a client showing her some apartments. We came out to get in the car to go on to the next showing when a man pulls up in a car next to me and says "hey, are you a Realtor?" I said, "well, yes I am, how can I help you?" he said I saw the apartment in the paper and figured I would take a drive by to see what it looked like and low and behold, you were coming out the door, is there anyway you can show it to me? I said, "well Sir, out of courtesy to my client, I need to continue with our scheduled showings, however; I will be finished in 20 minutes, at that time, we can meet to discuss what your needs."

I took my client to finish looking at her scheduled showings and 20 minutes later my phone rings and he is asking if I am ready to meet him now........LOL, he wan an anxious tenant! Anyway, I spoke with him, found out what his needs were, explained to him how I work as a Rental Specialist and if he would like for me to assist him, I would be happy to do so, he agreed and now I have a new rental client, ALL BECAUSE HE WAS JUST DRIVING BY.........LOL! Glad I have my Realtor License Plate on my car..........

That truly is being in the right place at the right time; I had something like that happen once with a lease property. Hope you close them both!

I had someone approach me this way one time.  I handled it the same way.  When we came out of the home, I found my card laying on the sidewalk.  I guess that he couldn't wait.  (His loss.)

Christine, don't you just love it when something great like this happens. It helps to make up for some of the other stuff.
