Fairfax, CA Real Estate Market Conditions Update ~ January 2011

As of February 12, 2011 an encouraging 42% of available listings in Fairfax are in escrow.

For the month of January 2011 only 2 homes sold in Fairfax (neither of which were distress sales) for an average final selling price of $647,000.

The average original asking price of these homes was $749,000.

The range of final selling prices was from a low of $524,000 to a high of $770,000.

The 2 homes that sold both sold for less than their original asking prices.

It took these two homes an average of 145 days to sell.
