I answered a phone call and was excited to hear from a client I had represented as their listing agent about 2 years ago.  They were moving back to the area as a job position became available with his company and they missed our community. 

I was honored that they now were wanting to work with me as their buyers agent to find them their new home.  I expressed appreciation for the opportunity and told them I was very flattered that they kept me in mind for this very important task.  The response is one that I will always remember and cherish. 

You did us an excellent job in selling our home and we were very pleased.  The one thing that stood out most was that you were very honest, didn't necessarily tell us what we wanted to hear but told us what we needed to hear. You spoke with heart to us as clients and cared enough about us to be honest.  We came back to you because we knew we would get that same care as we are making a home purchase decision.

Speaking from the heart ... what a professional Realtor will do.  Having facts to back up your recommendations and experience on how to deliver the message.  When it comes to your client's best interest and when they are trying to make an important decision it is our responsibility as their Realtor representative to assist them with decisions by being honest. 

It's wonderful clients like this sweet family that makes me so appreciative to be in a great profession!

Samantha - I have to be true to myself as well as my clients.  That is a risk and sometimes I just don't get the opportunity because the customer just did not like what I had to say about price, condition, etc.  But I have learned that those listings just sit so I'm OK with not getting that business.

Emily - the wonderful friendships we make along the way is just such a great added benefit.  It does make our jobs truly a blessing.

Chirag - Honesty is a foundation to my business as I know that my clients deserve to hear facts.  Their decisions are very important and a huge financial impact.  They need to make them wisely and our job is to give them good input to consider.
