Mr & Mrs Pullman WA Seller...My Buyer Want to Buys...Do You Want to Sell?

By
Real Estate Agent with Beasley Realty

Mr. and Mrs. Pullman Washington Seller my buyer wants to buy.  We have done our homework.  Yes, my buyer is pre-qualified.

Yes, my buyer has been watching the market for some time now.  Like most buyers, they were actively looking on the Inter-net before they called me and asked me to show them the inside of some of the homes that interested them.  That is where at least 85% of buyers begin their search for their new home.

I have met with them and we have discussed their needs versus wants.  We have spent a considerable time narrowing down what they need, the type of house they like, and if they want to live on College Hill, Military Hill, Sunnyside Hill or Pioneer Hill.

We have most likely looked at many houses together.  Typically I will work with a buyer for many months and in the process preview many, many homes.  After all, in Pullman we have many wonderful homes to chose from in various price ranges.

So Mr. and Mrs Seller....do you want to sell?  Then do please show us that you want to sell.  Listen to your Realtor
® and set a price that puts you "in" the market...not just on the market.   Show us a home that is clean, tidy and well taken care of.  If you can, please leave the lights on for us.  And the heat up as well. We really appreciate a nice clean yard when we check out your back yard.  Gosh, some nice soft music going makes us feel right at home.

I know I vividly remember one home where the sellers put out a tray of cookies with a wonderful note welcoming us to their home and thanking us for looking.  That simple gesture has stuck with me....they demonstrated they appreciated the showing and the buyers who were considering their home.  Their message was loud and clear....please buy MY home!

Ahhh, you must have sellers in your area that don't seem too interested in selling either!

So true.  I saw a great one today, the curtains were pulled back to let the light in, there was soft music to show off the built-in speakers and lovely home made Valentine's Day heart cookies in the kitchen.  We felt so welcome.

So right, Mr. and Mrs. Seller should be realistic and proactive this whole time. Without their cooperation nothing is possible. We will be spinning wheals for nothing.

I love the Sellers who put out a tray of cookies.  I also love the ones who leave a note for the new owners welcoming them into their home.  These are great points, Lori.  Also, Sellers, now is the time to sell.  We have have motivated buyers looking.

Lori,

It all comes down to, do the sellers want to list their home, or sell their home. And you are exactly right about making a home comfortable and clean.

Great suggestions. The little things can be what makes or breaks a deal.
