On Thursday and Friday of this week, I fortunately had the pleasure to attend classes which will lead to attainment of CRB (Certified Real Estate Broker). It was two of the most vinegar and oil days of my recent memory. As I live in Crestwood, an Oldham County suburb of Louisville, it was my genuine pleasure to leave home at 6:30 which is only a few minutes before the first light of day and drive along I-64 towards Lexington. For those who have never experienced, or have not done so recently, that drive is truly a stunningly beautiful reminder of what native American's, Daniel Boone, and others saw with the rolling hills and valley's filled with misty fogs. For two mornings, I drove in appropriate amazement of God's Glory.
Upon arrival at the Lexington Bluegrass Association of Realtors (LBAR) Office, although in tremendous personal pain due to a recent back injury, I felt like an honored guest and so welcomed. And the next two days held many more examples of true Southern Hospitality.
The class was entitled "Financial Planning & Management". While it started out slowly due to the elementary review of basic accounting analysis, by the end of the day, excitement was building for what Friday's class would bring.
Friday, started the same time, and with the same beautiful drive, but there was a stop a the pharmacy for more pain medication. I must say, that I was so happy that LBAR chose such wonderfully comfortable seminar chairs.
As predicted, Friday's class was full of interesting points and conversations giving me lots of fodder to chew on as to how best analyze and effect financial outcomes.
It was a wonderful class, but what I really enjoyed most was the new friendships.
