New Beginnings

By

Elliot & Jamie on their Wedding Day

I'm reminded of the song - We've Only Just Begun ... white lace and promises, a kiss for luck and we are on our way...

Each year with our business we have the opportunity to freshen and have new beginnings.  Who is not to say that periodically if the business climate changes or your business just is not going in the right direction that you can't just pause, implement change and start fresh again?

The great thing about our career, you always have the chance to improve, make changes, hit the re-start button and make our next decisions be better & improved.  The benefit is you do know from experience what has worked, not turned out the way you had hoped and you can spring board from those experiences to much greater heights.

So if you haven't hit your stride as 2011 is beginning to unfold just step back and make the course correction to new and better beginnings.  You don't have to wait for a new year to roll around to commit to doing things differently or get your game on & energized. Just hit your next move with passion!

I'm with all of you. I love the start of a new year because of the feeling of a new beginning ... I also feel that way at the start of a new day - I love mornings!

Helping the first time and every time

The fact that we generally are working with new clients all the time helps, too. While we all hope that we learn something from past mistakes, at least we get new beginnings with every new client and a new chance to improve things for them and for ourselves. Every day is a new day...

Connie,

The start of a new year is always a good time to question priorities and allocate your time efficiently.

An inspiring post for Valentine's Day and everyday as well.

I guess that is why I liked golf, you get to start at 1 stroke over and over again, giggle.

I am starting over, again , new market.  I know what worked before, the market and location has changed of course, but the way I treat my clients has only gotten more a part of me.

Thanks for the post.

Adjustments and changes are needed throughout the year, months and weeks.  I'm a fan of planning in pencil--as things are sure to change.

Fresh new faces on a consistent basis help me to keep this mindset so I'm thankful for that part of my job. Ever changing business means the chance to have an ever changing attitude...just be sure to keep it positive!

I'm singing that song today. The Carpenters are one of my favorite singers... Wished she lived longer to have sung more songs for us.

Each day is a new chance to start fresh. People put alot of emphasis on the new year however it's just a matter of perspective on how you see it. It's kinda like starting a healthy way of eating, just start where you are, don't worry about yesterday... procrastination is ambition's worst enemy.

Nice post Connie!
