Anatomy of a Facebook Business Page - 30 Days to Social Media Results - Day 10

It’s time to launch into setting up your social media profiles and getting your social media machine in gear.  We start with Facebook, the “801” pound gorilla.  (I stole this from a comment, thanks Prayful)

Currently Facebook is the standard by which all other social media is measured.  The goal today is to introduce you to the elements of Facebook  Business Pages and help you fine tune your profile so that it becomes a highly effective tool for your business.

Social Rule: What keywords will you use to help your Business Page Rank in Facebook and Google Search Engines?

Exercises: Using the bio information that you put together in the first lessons, adjust of fill out your page profile. Make sure that your profile includes keywords that speak to your #1 and #2 target audience!

Thanks, Kate. The reason I used 801 pound Gorilla is - as of now, people spend more time on Facebook than Google.

I am following your series religiously - but I am little lazy at the exercise - though will still work on it.

Good points all.  Keywords in your profile do help you in Google search, but what will become increasingly more important, facebook search.
