Climbing Roofs again in Collegeville

man shoveling snow off roofJust a few weeks ago, Spring seemed so far away.. almost a myth.  Pennsylvania has had a tough, long winter. Shortly after New Year's, we were bombarded with snow storm after snow storm.  As part of my home inspections in Collegeville, PA and surrounding, I climb the roofs so I can make sure I see those shingles, flashing, gutters and chimney up close.  My clients can be sure they are getting a thorough inspection and have peace-of-mind for years to come.

What happens when it snows?  I pay particular attention to the sheathing in the attic on the underside of the roof to see if there is any moisture staining and any cause to worry about the roofing system.  I also offer to come back once the snow is melted.  This winter is the first winter in such a long time that the snow just wouldn't go away... until this week.

It's hard to believe the sun is shining again and we are heading for the 50s.  I am heading off for my day's inspections and will be climbing roofs again in Collegeville!

David, I think that it is great that you return once the snow has melted to do an inspection of the roof!  Great job!

Good post by a fellow David in the Philadelphia area. I can recommend a good roof repair contractor if you need someone to help work on maintenance and leaking problems. Keep up the good work.
