What does Will Have to do with it?

I’m a big fan of Bob Proctor and have been following his Six Minutes to Success video series since January.  If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend that you do.

This is an awesome daily six minute exercise designed to help you focus on what’s important in your life and business.  Awesome stuff.

Today’s video was on “The Will”.  It’s so powerful that I have to share it.

The message is very simple, your will is a direct function on your ability to concentrate.

The key to success is your ability to learn to concentrate as concentration increases the vibration and moves us all closer to success.

If you see only the objective than the obstacle must give way.  Good Stuff.

Here’s an exercise.  Do it for every day for the next 90 days.

Red Dot

Print this red dot and put it on a wall.  Spend five minutes concentrating on the red dot every day.  Focus only on the red dot.  If your mind wanders, that’s ok bring it back to the red dot.  This exercise will improve your concentration,, improve your will and help you  move mountains!

If you get a chance check out Six Minutes to Success , it's Good Stuff!

It would require medication for me to look at that dot for more than 30 seconds.  I would need a different picture, like maybe a beach.

Kate, concentration is becoming a learned skill given all our distractions. I have found an early morning walk is a good focus option for me. If I don't focus on the process of walking on my neighborhood dirt roads... I'll trip! Good advice.

Wanda, that's the point the exercise.  To train your mind to concentrate on something somewhat mundane.  It's that mental muscle that will move all obstacles.

Emily, I think that you're right.  I'm noticing that I'm jumpping from one task to the next in the middle of the first one.  It's nutty.

Endre,  it's good stuff.  I hope that you do.

Kate, A great post and great that you are focused on Bob Procter's offerings.  This is similar to forms meditation like Buddhist meditation.  Every effort to focus the mind enables a person to focus more in other areas of their lives.

Wanda mentioned the big red dot being difficult...I enjoy doing this focusing on a flame of a candle or closing my eyes and following my breathing.  What ever works!

All the best!

Wow, Kate...this is the first time I have ever heard of this "concentration" method! I wonder if the color has significance, like if the exercise would change if it was a dot of a different color? :)

Oh, dear.  I'm afraid that, like Wanda, I couldn't stare at anything for more than a minute without my mind wandering someplace else.  Maybe I could meditate with my eyes closed?!
