What would ever inspire me to wake up way before dawn, to get showered and dressed, hop in the car at 6:00 a.m. to beat the city commuter traffic on a Tuesday?

A MeetUp that's what!

I've written before how much I love MeetUp.com. I've been a member for a few years now. Typical for me I've joined more groups than I can possibly ever participate in, but I remain.

Why? Because Meetup.com keeps me connected with the topics and experiences I truly enjoy. Each week they send out a notice of happenings that week. I find myself picking and choosing where and what I want to learn or participate in.

Today I jumped out of bed to MeetUp with my fellow Photog friends. We shot butterflies.

Kristal, I will have to check meetup. Love the pictures! Did you go to the butterfly Pavilion in Westminster to get the pictures. We use to live a few miles from there but it was not there at the time.

Marchel, yes, that's exactly where I went! It's quite a busy place, but we had a special "tripod" session that I arranged for my group. 90 minutes of pure fun!
