I love love love the new Bank of America! Yes, you heard right AND no I’m not on some serious drug or at the end of a drinking Binge.
It seemed like 2011 started out as the year of BofA short sales. The first one I had put me into a state of frenzy and fear. I recall all the hardships that everyone in the past few years experienced with long waits and almost non existent help. So if you can picture a trembling child in the corner; that was me when the first one hit my desk. My thought was “Oh Jeeze, my luck ran out and I now have one!”.
Now two months later, I’ve worked through 3 BofA SS. Each and everyone had an amazing negotiator assigned and the files were well managed. Responses were provided in a very short time and all the communication was fantastic. I had negotiators who called me at night (due to shift changes); contacted me to help walk me through the counters and even called to explain the investor process.
Of the three short sales; I’m in line to close two in record time. I cannot say enough great things about the Equator system or the negotiators I’ve been blessed to work with so far.
I know that not every file will be this way (in fact I have a 4th that is a bit sticky); but the worry I had going into this has proven to be unwarranted. Congrats to BofA for making this process more streamlined and for providing quality negotiators to help move these issues towards a conclusion.
I wish that the other lenders out there can follow suit and streamline their processes in much the same manner.
