New Every Spring

By

The calendar still says that it is winter. But, we are experiencing a warm up and a bit of a thaw which is much appreciated this time of year. This winter has seemed longer and colder then most and the break in the cold is always a spark of hope that Winter end is within sight. But, the thing that warms my soul the most, is the announcement that  Spring Training has started.

I love baseball. I love the history of baseball. The simplicity of baseball. The athleticism of baseball. The traditions of baseball.

One of the timeless traditions of baseball is Spring Training. To me, the greatest thing about Spring Training is that every team, every player has a clean sheet. There is hope every year that this year will be the year that your team will be playing in the Fall classic.

With that hope --- Go TIGERS, THE "D" is ready for a great season!

I hope that the warm up and thaw last and that spring is on the way.  Baseball is a great sport and lots of fun for all!
